#i can’t breathe tbh  #i can’t actually breathe  #this was brutal - like i know this show specialises with spectacularly brutal pointless deaths  #but this one  #i just can’t actually deal with the fact that he dies with bonnie’s wellbeing primary in his mind  #that’s his last thought  #that bonnie’s not okay and elena (katherine) needs to help her  #no.  #and bonnie can’t even move; she’s basically paralysed bleeding out onto some cold dirty cave floor  #and she can hear him; she can hear him screaming  #she can hear the squelch of teeth sinking into his neck  #and she can’t do a fucking thing; she’s barely lucid herself  #and just remember in season two when jeremy was trapped in the cave  #and bonnie almost killed herself trying to unseal it to get him out  #and she failed then; she collapsed with blood dripping from her nose  #and had to listen to katherine bite him and listen to him screaming.  #and now. again. except this time there’s no out.  #there’s no luck.  #this time all she can do is focus on the needlepoint of pain in her abdomen  #and the last pained groans coming out of jeremy’s mouth and the gaping silence after.  #AND SHE CAN’T FUCKING DO ANYTHING.  #i’m not okay  #i’m not.
